Hawkes Bay Radiology

The staff were fantastic..!I was somewhat anxious about an ultrasound scan I'd been asked to have.However, making the appointment was easy and overall I have to say that the staff at Hawkes Bay Radiology were wonderful and the service I received was the best I've ever experienced from any healthcare company.The whole procedure was handled very professionally by very friendly people.Well done to them and can't recommend them highly enough.

Was faced with urgent medical situation that doc requested same day ultrasound and tests. Got put through to answerphone and left message. Rang back and only after quizzing was i told the only part -timers that did the test werent even working that day, even though i explained the first time i was hoping for same day. This time i was told the only time indication was 2 weeks or more and the only promise they could give was a phone call the following week. Asked if anywhere else may be able to help even out of town and they told me they didnt really think it was an option i had was to wait for a phone call next week and wait with everyone else. Decided to google radiology on nearest towns and rotorua agreed to see me in 3&1/2 hours and left immediately and drove there. Palmy rang back shortly after. I cant believe the lack of compassion and knowledge shown by counter people at both branches. Giving correct information about neighbouring radiologies could save someone's life, but these guys cant even be bothered giving out helpful information like this.......it just so much easier saying....you'll just have to wait to suit our schedule and we'll tell you when it suits us to let you know.....shame on you!!!!!!
