Napier War Memorial Centre

Napier War Memorial Conference Centre is an excellent facility. Located on the northern end of Marine Parade in Napier it has large conference rooms, excellent catering and technology. In addition, the views from the centre are great and there is easy to the beach and gardens if you want a bit of fresh air. The staff looked after us well and kept everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

I saw Sue Nicholson there last week. Over 300 of us fitted in comfortably . Looks lovely now it's all redecorated

A disabled toilet was out of order and the other one was so hard to get in and out of because of its proximity not the main door

Short haired white blond woman treated me as if we was below her. There were no manners, she entered into the conversation like it was her right to do so when we weren't even speaking to her in the 1st place. Then continued to tell us we were in the wrong when clearly she didnt hear the full questions to begin with.So, if you happen to enter the building, aim for that one receptionist, and dont acknowledge anyone else unless they excuse themselves in.If you dress to success then perhaps your mouth and manners should follow! Not impressed by the constant stares and filthy looks, its not YOUR place to judge, its your place to be polite!Overall, the building is more than adequate for all types of gatherings, yet the staff need an important reminder that they are very much replaceable!

Excellent food, organisation and staff. One of the best run conference venues I've ever been to.

Brilliant place for a conference, but if it is a big conference then parking will be a big issue. The car parks at the venue are very limited and all day parking near by is very little. It is handy though to the motels and hotels on marine parade and within easy walking distance of all of them. Catering for conference attendees is superb. Very clean, tidy and comfortable venue. Brilliant views as well

We have been to a few functions, including talks, seminars, and sadly a funeral, at this venue and its always managed them well.Parking for is on street, or a 5-8 minute walk from a a choice of two covered, off street parking facilities.
