Website indicated it was open today. Got to the door and the sign says it is only open Wednesdays to Sundays during non school holidays. Will be back to actually visit at some point but a long way to travel to disappoint a little one.

Lovely little place. To bad train world is closed BUT the ship is still open. Definitely worth checking out. John is a lovely person.

Lots of detailed models to amuse train lovers young and old. Some of the displays look a little tired in places, but young kids will never notice.This is an excellent rainy day activity.

Really cool place. Large model train setups. Kids loved it. I think they loved the fairground setup the most actually :)Contains the old original Liliput trainset that used to live near the new meseum, then went to the old Marineland and now is here.

Fantastic setup. Much detail. Sad it might be closing. Needs a helping handy man/lady to take on and keep it going. Hope it doesn't end up closing like Marineland. Be another lost icon for Napier and us all.

Amazing place, our two year old absolutely loved running around pushing the buttons to get the trains moving. And also going on the track on the big train. Highly recommend to escape the hot HB heat

A bit pricey and the train ride for kids should be more than one loop. Other than that pretty good if your kids like trains.
