Amazing experience!Took a whale watching flight with a few friends and the experience was well worth the price.Friendly staff, scenic views and we saw Orcas!The pilot did really well to make sure we got a nice view, no matter where we were sitting. I would definitely recommend it. Even if you don’t end up seeing whales (it’s never guaranteed) the views are spectacular.

The whole team and crew are super friendly and the whole experience was smooth. During our flight, we saw 2 whales and loads of dolphins. Highly recommend this experience!

Amazing experience flying today! Saw 2 sperm whales and hundreds of dolphins.On top of the incredible flight, they were also generous enough to pick me up from kaikoura as I didn't have a car.Highly highly recommend flying with Air Kaikoura - you won't regret it :)

I booked the ultimate package together with the whale watching boat trip. I phoned to confirm that the flight will also include whale watching and they said that it did.When I arrived for the flight, I was rudely informed that the flight will not include whale watching and that I would have to pay extra for this.The flight was average and not worth thw money.Edit: I was given the option to cancel instead of upgrade ehen I arrived, after spending the time and money to get to Kaikoura canceling is not really an option.

Pilot is super nice and professional, giving much info about seas, whales, and searching process before and during the extraordinary flight! We were so lucky to spot a humpback, a sperm whale and groups of dolphins! All staff are friendly and nice. Special thanks to Jessica! She helped me to find my sunglasses left on the aircraft and waited until I went back to fetch them. Highly recommended!

In the last 3 years I have done 4 Whale Watch Flights with Air Kaikoura and have lived every single one!The mix between watching the marine wildlife and getting a bit of a scenic flight over the peninsula is amazing and I no doubt will be back again in the future!

We have booked on a whale watching flight and were able to see a whale and some dolphins a long the coast. Ver, professional and knowledgeable team. The flight itself was very enjoyable.
