The Hoi Polloi Bar and Bistro
The Menu and food is very very exciting . Would of ordered all the entrees they all sounded beautiful. We ended up sharing the duck liver pate and the orange and beetroot hummus absolutely beautiful , then came the mains wow the steak with beef cheek croquette was beautifully presented and fantastic flavours, also the butternut and freekah risotto was divine and the cauliflower and buckwheat cake melted in your mouth , only disappointment was we didn’t have room for dessert , fantastic food and value for money , highly highly recommend it to everyone

We had our farewell dinner here for our Japanese homestay student. They made up a platter to start with from the Tapas menu which was so good. The meals and atmosphere are fantastic and the staff super friendly. Great range of tap beers with three boys and tuatara hazy. What a great new place. We will be back.

Picked up a coffee and scone to take away for lunch, best scone and coffee in town. Next time the delicious looking muffins. Well worth a visit

The atmosphere is Awsome very clean and tidy very newish however I was on lunch break and thought to try this place. On the door it said fries for 9 bux and it had a cool name add on it I can’t remember same story with the strawberry cocktail for 12 bux. When I saw the food first thing came in mined was I got Ripped Off big time..

The worst breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. There was nothing in any pots. Like no eggs or mushrooms. The cheese was clearly from yesterday as it was cracked and even the Brie was hard. The thinly sliced salami was also a day old as it was as stiff as card board. We paid $32 each for a couple of mushie hash browns and undercooked bacon.

Definitely one of the very best restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating in.The portions are awesome and the food is very tasty and very well presentedThe staff are very pleasant and very friendly.I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a great place to eat and take their friends.

Enjoyed mother's day treat. The long black coffee was amazing! Hot and nicely brewed. Will visit again!
