Crazy Rabbit Cafe
Stopped here for a tea and sandwich on my walk into town. Hataitai is not really on the tourist trail, but is an accessible and pleasant suburb. This slightly austere looking cafe was staffed by friendly faces, which is always a good sign. I had an unusual roasted nut, spinach and avocado sandwich which was extremely tasty. I'd gladly stop here again.

Great toasted sandwiches .There ‘s a bakery several doors down .Crazy rabbit does mind you bringing food items to their cafe to have with their coffee.If you’re into salads they have a great salmon one . Interesting , charming friendly team .

Crazy Rabbit Cafe
A yummy date scone with butter and any coffee for $6 as a combo. The coffee can be hit and miss unfortunately depending who is working though which is what stops me going here on a near daily basis.They have a little play area for kids too if you are a parent this seems to be the place to go in the village for meetups.

Not amazing. Coffee was pretty good, staff friendly enough but chai late way too sweet, cinnamon scroll was very dry and stale - definitely not baked the same day. Vibes were not great - not much taste in interior design or music (just a radio station - felt like a takeaway shop rather than a nice cafe).

Asian fusion. Which means a mix of indian thru Korean though a bit more indian than say south East Asian. Wait staff try hard but seem inexperienced so not so good at front footing when things go wrong.
