We used Anderson for 2 years, dealing with Mike (the current owner). It was a painful process. There were numerous examples of incompetence.One example being he advised us not to include a vehicle purchase in the business (because that is what he normally does. He then provided a spreadsheet which when used showed it would be beneficial to include the car in the business for a variety of outcomes - his advice and spreadsheet contradicted.Another example being asking basic questions which were easily solved with a quick search in xero - which he had access to.After concluding with his services we had to redo a variety of work, and discovered various areas where we had needed advice at the time and trusted him to look after us - but he had left us exposed.Unfortunately to top it all off - he was more expensive than other accountants.
