Everytime I visit Taupo I always visit Lava Glass.The glass works are beautiful and I love the sculpture garden nice to look at and sit in especially when the day is nice.The staff have always been lovely and helpful.Thank you!

Such a great place to visit when in Taupo. Super friendly staff and so amazing been able to watch the glass artists at work which was a very reasonable price. The glass sculpture garden is also worth paying to see. Cafe food and coffee was also great.

Absolutely mesmerising. We were lucky enough to watch Chris make some vases and a few other guys make some Korus. The garden is amazing. Added a few photos, highly recommend going here. Lovely staff members and customer service.

If you're an art lover then you need to see this place. There's a Cafe and a garden which has a fee to visit...well worth paying $10 but if you buy anything at the gift store then you can redeem it off your purchase.

Amazing place to learn about the world of glass and how is the process of glass blowing. Really good cafeteria service. And the store to buy is beautiful, with lovely quality products. A wonder the things they do with glass.

So amazing to see such beautiful art being created right in front of you. The glass garden is beautifully laid out with excellent displays and information. The gallery has an amazing collection of pieces and for glass lovers, will have something for every taste. Coffee was great and the muffins were fresh and yummy. The sales team were simply great. Such a beautiful place to stop by. I’m so glad I got to walk through the lovely garden. I was really keen to bring a piece of NZ and this artist home with me which made me glad to see various pieces in the shop ranging between NZ$40 TO NZ$1000.Also, the coffee in the cafe is the best coffee we had in all of NZ. Kudos!!

The pieces throughout the gallery and gardens are very impressive. Whilst no photography is allowed in the gallery, the gardens are allowed and are wonderful, and free to enter. The iced coffees are so good here too!

The Lava Glassblowing studio and sculpture garden is a must do when in Taupo. The glass art is mind blowing beautiful and a real treat to view. The sculpture garden is on another level, and you can also get something to eat at their cafe. Highly recommended.
