Beautiful views, lots of birdlife. Nice well formed sign posted track along the water to Governor's bay. Public toilets and picnic areas available.

Allandale hall has fully supplied kitchen and bathroom facilities. Spacious hall, a black canvas for events. Tables, chairs, serve-ware available. Beautiful grounds and view of the ocean.

Very beautiful walk. Would highly recommend at low tide as you can see the birds searching for food.

Lovely sheltered place under the trees or grass by the water. Good toilets next door. Ideal picnic place. This beautiful wood pidgeon visited a few times.

Nice bit of history, with it being the original road around the shoreline, and nice wildlife, but lots of grey dull mud and a bitterly cold easterly, and shadowed from the sun makes it not so nice. Lovely bush and volcanic rock formations are a plus.
