Piha Beachfront Restaurant
The perfect meal and view of Piha beach at sunset to end a day of climbing, surfing and a swim.We had the fish and chips and wagyu burger. Pretty good overall despite forgetting the sides. However, the cornbread bumps this place up to a strong 5 stars for me - so good and on par with cornbread we’ve had in Texas. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu next week!

The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Surf Life Saving club. There were quite a few tables including ones on the balcony outside. We had menus on the table bt ordered at the bar. They also had water but it tasted weird.The food was alright. I had the Chicken quesadilla.The decor was quite interesting with awards all around and a boat on the ceiling. They also had a small freezer with ice cream by the counter. It was quite a nice place and could get really busy on a really nice day.

Meal was average. Tasted like the deep fryer oil hadn't been changed in a while. One of my friends meals was forgotten about completely and when the staff were reminded they gave her the wrong thing. Staff were nice enough but maybe a bit lacking here.

We stumbled upon this place by the beach before they were technically open, and they were happy to seat and serve us anyway. The onion rings were perfect, and we enjoyed the burgers and chicken sandwiches.

We went for an unplanned lunch on New Year's Day and it was excellent. We both had the Piha burger and chips and it was absolutely fresh and delicious. Lovely staff and super efficient service (it was quiet and the meal came quickly). Great spot, highly recommend.
