If you've taken the time and opportunity to visit Waihau Bay then you just have to visit the Waihau Bay Store and Post Office. It's a case of back of to the future. Absolutely AMAZING store. They stock everything imaginable and have a real iconic claim to fame in the brilliant and hilarious NZ movie BOY.We always get an icecream here - real value for money. Huge and delicious. The staff are really down to earth, super friendly and treat you like a special person and not just another customer. This store is a real credit to the owners and to Waihau Bay. LOVE this place and highly recommend a visit. THIS IS NZ.

Excellent coffee & yummy selection of fast food & cabinet food. Friendly, efficient staff. Some seats/tables out the front of store would have been nice & what a view!!

Sometimes you need a trip to a place like Waihau Bay to realise we live in paradise, we have wonderful people and Waihau Bay has a small community with a cool little store.The food, the coffee, the smiles.Thank you for looking after us.Keep us in touch if you get anymore hoodies X

Waited an hour for my order just to be told that they had forgotten about it." Then they go on to tell me that someone else took it which was a lie because I sat there the whole time listening to every order. I thought they'd at least have the courtesy of chucking in something free for making me wait so long but nah."
