I can’t praise this experience enough. Salty wind in your hair. Seal pups playing in rocky pools. The skipper’s well-timed stories and appreciation of history. We’re looking forward to bringing family and friends on this fun adventure with Chaddys Charters.

Amazing! Sea was rough, so we were given the option to cancel. So glad we didn't! An exhilarating ride, caught 2 fish, which were fileted and smoked for free after landing, fabulous Commentry. Fun day out, highly recommended

Easy to book, super fun (there were some pretty big waves which were navigated with skill!), informative and great value for money. Seeing a little blue penguin was an unexpected highlight. Highly recommend.

Lovely people, couldn’t have been more helpful. Hired 3 bikes for an hour but said to take as long as we needed. Wouldn’t let us pay for the extra 30mins we had them. Super friendly and helpful

Had a fab time with Chaddys charters on a weekend away in new Plymouth from Auckland. Great communication about booking and our skipper was brilliant, lots of local info and made sure both sides of the boat got to be close to the action of the bird colony, Seals and natural beauty of the islands. 1 hour out at sea was the perfect amount and nice to have the roof so you’re open to the sea breeze but no sun burn! On our tour was up from a baby to grandparents so perfect for every age. Definitely do when you’re the area!

A fantastic last minute adventure (it was a calm and sunny day that we went out, so do double check) and we saw seals! Also, a bit of local history of the islands and the area too.

Had a great trip on Chaddy's Charters! All the staff were friendly and Tony was a great skipper who shared some wonderful knowledge of the area and the seals. A really great trip for all ages!

We were very disappointed with this trip. The quality of the trip depends on which side of the boat you are on. We are keen photographers, especially wildlife so we're excited about the chance to see fur seals, having come from UK. The progress round the islands was always clockwise so everyone on the right side of the boat got great views of the seals and their pups. Unfortunately for us and several others, we were on the left side so we're not able to see much, let alone take photos. I have spoken to the owner and suggested that once the clockwise circuit is done then turn around and do it anticlockwise so that the people on the other side of the boat also get a chance to see. Had we been on the righthand side my review would have been very different - a 5* rather than 2*. I hope this is listened to so that more people can enjoy the trip.

Such an easy company to deal with. Great advice and very relaxed. We hired e-bikes to go along the Coastal Walkway. They were very good quality with wide fat comfy seats.
