Excellent service all the way. The prompt responses to my online request for a fire place service. The young man who came spot on the time that was stated. He was very pleasant and thorough top marks for him. And the issues I was having were all fixed and clean up was also excellent Def will use this company again.

Great service from The Fire Shop. Their communication is awesome & they are so good to deal with. I now have peace of mind that my fireplace is sorted for this winter. :)

After approaching two other Companies in Tauranga whose service was very average and didn't give me confidence we were fortunate enough to check out The Fire Shop. Troy arrived to measure up for our Serene Petite and I immediately knew he was excellent, after 50 plus years as a Builder my gut feeling proved to be correct. We accepted his quote after viewing the Fire which he purchased for us to make sure we were happy with it.He gave us a date 10th June, was unable to complete due to heavy rain showers, we were delighted when he came back and completed on Saturday 11th. Super easy to book or even change an appointment via their online bookings page.Turned up on time, clean, tidy, quick but thorough.I would certainly recommend. *****Good to get the flue cleaned / cleared professionally once a year and have a record of it so there is no issue with insurance if anything did happen with the log wood burner.

Booked a chimney sweep and safety inspection for $159. The guys were at our home for 10 minutes. The appointment was supposed to be for 40 minutes. My wife is a 16 year qualified lawyer and even she doesn't get paid those kind of rates. Add to that that when my wife rang The Fire Shop after the appointment, the man who came to do the work rang back and he was just rude, patronising and clearly couldn't of cared less. Altogether, not impressed and will be going elsewhere next year.

Took 4 weeks to get an appointment to clean the chimney at at cost of $109, turned up with a cordless drill and a cleaning device that I could buy for $50. spent 10 minutes there, didn't clean out the fireplace and told me my fire was not safe and needed to be replaced because I had a crack in the glass ( saying to replace the glass fair enough). asked if they could repair and they said no the fire was too old. A 10 minute search on the internet and I had a replacement glass and new fire glass holder from Kent in Auckland costing $120 instead of a $5000 replacement fire. Where has the old school service gone where you actually service your customers honestly instead of trying to screw them for money.

Troy was very pleasant and friendly and arrived on time. I was asked if i wanted some netting over my chimney to keep birds out and i agreed. Big mistake i made was not thinking there would be a charge for it. Consequently very surprised to receive an account for this immediately. Can staff please let customers know in advance of agreeing to have this netting so they aernt left with shock of receiving an immediate account. Thanks

Easy on-line booking. Prompt email to confirm appointment. Reminder text the day before appointment. Their team turned up on time, in uniform, ready to go. Friendly, professional, fast. One of the best customer experiences I've had. Awesome.
