Number One Shoes

Purchased 2 pairs with sale on buy 1 get 1 half price. I was not advised at time of purchase that my 2nd pair were on a separate sale and would not be 50% off. I returned the 2nd pair an hour later as they didn't fit the intended wearer and I wanted to query why I was charged more for the 2nd pair. I was told that the store would exchange price for price or as it turned out I have a $5 credit after paying full price for the new but different shoes, but not honour the 50% off the new pair. Apparently I should have returned all shoes purchased for a full credit then I would get my 50%. I'm feeling deflated over this and will do my best not to shop here again. If it were me serving I would have credited the full receipt and recharged it all with the rest against a store credit. It takes very little to lose a customer but also very little to keep one.

We've shopped here before as well as other branches. They do have a good range of shoes and the staff were very helpful finding the right style and size. Thank you.

Good value and very friendly staff, but during busy hours there may be a bit of wait to get served. Handy location with ample parking. Look out for specials and this is a good place/alternative for kids shoes especially. They also have decent goods return policy. Why pay twice as much if you are buying shoes that you are not gonna be wearing everyday as most shoes in NZL are made in China or other SE Asian nations. Recommending a visit to the store next time you are in the area and grab a bargain.

The store displayed extensive shop front and in store advertising stating second pair $25".Having chosen two pair both labeled $69.99 I was told the total was $140. I queried this and the assistant then informed me the total was $104. Another query from me resulted in the manager being called. I was informed one pair was already discounted and could not be discounted further. When i queried the lack of any sign of the discounted price I was told they hadnt had time to sticker the boxes. Hardly my problem. There was no offer from the store to honour their advertising. A clear case of misleading advertising. Maybe a question of buyer beware but disappointing attitude from the store. Beware of their so called special offers."

A very friendly and helpful staff. The products range is good and lot of options to choose from. Right from quality and price all you want is one place. Buy a shoe for small kids to adults in one place.

I spent almost an hour in this store today and not one one staff member asked if I wanted any assistance, or even spoke to me for that matter. When I did ask a staff member for help, he mentioned he was serving someone and would be back once he had finished with that customer -all good, no problem! However, He never came back. I put the shoes I was going to purchase back on the shelves and left the store. Sorry guys, I won't be back to your store.
