Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail Trust
What a wonderful track! Beautiful river and farmland. Not to mention the mangrove Broadwalk at the Horeke end!I went on a Tuesday, starting at 10am from the bottom of Imms Rd. This location is recommended if, like me, you were doing a both way ride; as I didn't want the big hill on the Okaihau end to climb at the end of the journey. I'm reasonably fit and not on an electric bike. It took me 6 hours, return, but I was relaxing and taking in the scenery. I also did at least 10km more than the 40km return as there is no clear end at Horeke. I wasn't the only one who made this mistake as there is a misleading trail sign with Horeke 1.5 km"

Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail Trust
One of the least inspiring Cycle trails we have been on in the whole of New Zealand. Seems to be a very sparsely used track. In places well overgrown and horses and cattle on parts of the track. Very dissapointed to see the volume of litter as well.
