Sylvia delivered my first baby boy 25 years ago and then 2 years ago (when I was a much older Mum to be) delivered my little girl and just 9 weeks ago my baby boy. I put my trust in Sylvia and she has been amazing. I recommended Sylvia to many others 25 years ago and have continued to do so. She is simply the best

I just did a very smooth delivery through Dr Syvia and Midwife Vanessa. They are very professional all I need to do was just trust their advices they would do the best for you. I was so lucky to have them for my first baby, it was an excellent experience. After delivery the stitch was healing well. I'm very satisfied with the result. thanks to them, baby and me are doing very well.

My wife booked an appointment for consultation and Dr Sylvia was not just a wonderful doctor but a great listener. She took time to listen to us and gave a good advice. She was so comforting and her more 30 years of experience makes it a wonderful experience. I'll definitely recommend for ladies looking for a good private gynecologist. She is fairly busy throughout the year so appointments are recommended.

Dr. Sylvia is highly professional and a best Gynaecologist. I was lucky to have Dr. Sylvia as my obstetrician for my recent pregnancy. She was very conscious at each stage of pregnancy and has given me best advise from weight management to other pregnancy related issues. The whole delivery process went well and she made me feel comfortable even during delivery procedure which was stunning. I am very much satisfied regarding the services Dr. Sylvia and her staff gave during this time.Thank you so much Dr. Sylvia for always being there and looking after me in a best professional way during this time. You are very kind hearted and an amazing person. God bless you always.

Highly competent, personable and practicalWe always looked forward to our check ups with Dr Rosevear and over the course of the pregnancy, built a great relationship with her.We had our fair share of questions throughout our 5/6 months with her and she was always very reassuring and backed her opinions/feedback/answers with the latest research - you can trust she knows her stuff. Moreover, we always felt any final decisions on procedures would be ours - she invited the discussion and we are so thankful for that.Needless to say, we trusted her completely and our baby Olivia arrived (via natural birth) at the end of July 2021. Some decisive action had to be taken during the delivery but my recovery was quick and we’d do it all over again with Dr Rosevear.Thank you Dr Rosevear - for being there for us all the way and bringing a very healthy and happy Olivia into the world. She lights up ours and we couldn’t have done it without you.

I was in labour for 6 hours and the entire time Dr Rosevear was grumpy, inconvenienced, and sullen about the fact that she had to be there late at night. When she first saw me she said she predicted the baby will be born in an hour. When it took longer she complained that I was taking too long" and that "this isn't normal." She pushed me to be induced and when I hesitated she was annoyed and said "It's already not a natural birth because you had an epidural." I asked her what was the medical reason for an induction and she only repeated that it had to be done quickly. She argued until I reluctantly agreed - it's difficult to debate with a doctor when you're in labour. But each time she was visibly irritated that the induction didn't speed things up as much. At one point she sighed and said "well I might as well go and work on my shopping list" before exiting the room in a huff. Another time she glared at me mid contraction and said "I really should have been home hours ago. You're taking way too long."About 4 hours into the labour she threatened to do a c-section if I wasn't ready to push the next time she came to check on me. My husband asked why was a c-section medically necessary and she only said it was because things were taking too long. It was clear there was no medical reason for a c-section

I got to know about Dr.sylvia through Google.I got pregnant in April 2020&wanted a specialist who can deliver my baby without any complications since my case was critical.I firstly contacted birthright&the receptionist there said there is only 1 space available. I asked her about the procedures&they said a bunch of doctors would know your case&whoever is on shift will deliver your baby. I said no.I need a doctor who can focus on my case specifically and know in and out about my situation.I contacted Dr.sylvia afterwards and arranged an appointment to see her in epsom where her clinic is.My husband and I went there and we were so sweetly greeted by this nice receptionist Sharon.Sharon is a very sweet receptionist who cares alot about pregnant women. She gave me warm water and told me to wait.I met Dr.sylvia and she explained what will happen, what can happen and what should happen in pregnancy. She was very specific about her work and the best part about sylvia was she doesn't beat around the bush and is very practical and that's one quality we loved about her. Many doctors give false hopes but sylvia always told us the truth.I had my csection done in 1st of dec 2020 and i recovered in only 4weeks which is a miracle by her.She is so good at her work and so professional that i would proudly recommend every woman who wants to have a safe delivery and a healthy baby, please contact this wonder woman Dr.sylvia.God bless you sylvia as after my delivery, i was looked after by dr.sylvia at Auckland hospital as a private patient and her service was outstanding.I didnt get any pressure to get discharged like other patients but i willingly said after 6days that i would like to go home but before that, no one pressured me and i was looked after like a princess.Sylvia, Your service is best and my husband and i would really thank you for what you had done for us.God bless you dear.Your team is amazing.Thank youLove and best wishes fromkrishmi, kushnil and little baby keshav.

Amazing professional! Dr Sylvia was calm and certain during my pregnancy filling us with confidence. And during the labour Dr Sylvia and Vanessa (midwife) did everything to make sure that both me and our baby are fine. They acted very professionally. I had 100% trust in them. If we'd decide to go for a second run, we wouldn't think twice who to choose as our LMC.

Sylvia is exceptionally proficient and professional. I am a 40 year old first time mother and it was important to have a care provider like her that has 30years experience and both a medical approach as well as a respect for the knowledge and experience-based style care that comes from midwives. This may be unique to my situation but I appreciated having scans, blood tests, and hard data to rely on as well as advice and wisdom from experienced mamas to help me make the right decisions for me and my baby. With Dr. Rosevear’s care I had an uncomplicated vaginal birth of a healthy 7lb baby boy and was on my feet and feeling really good almost immediately. She is unwavering in her goal of ensuring a successful birth. Along the way of my prenatal care she was honest and clear about the statistics, approaches, and interventions used in some births and potential outcomes –she didn’t sugarcoat things– and was always respectful of me and my partners endless questions and had no problem when we declined any interventions or elements of care that didn’t feel right for us. I am so thankful to have had her care for me and my sweet baby boy.
