The guys in here are very helpful. Prices are reasonable. If you are in Havelock North and need a few ales for the frdge, I recommend visiting Thirsty Liquor!

I thought I'd try my luck & give Thirsty Liquor a go for craft beer as I can't be bothered fighting the crowds at New World. Pleasantly surprised to find a selection equal to, if not superior to NW with Parrotdog, Brave, Garage Project and a few other staples. You probably won't find anything super interesting but it's better than nothing (which is what most bottle shops in the Bay have).I can't comment on wine or spirits other than to say there seemed to be an adequate selection on display on the way to the chiller.
