Second best fish & chips I've had in NZ. Must have whenever in, or passing through Hamilton. Can't speak for the Chinese food but fresh fish and chips are great!

Great value for price. Very well priced, often loads of deals and discounts available. Massive selection of food! Delicious Paua fritters. Only let downs for me are the fish (the batter is rather bitter) and the southern fried chicken burger is batter, rather than breaded. But that's personal taste! Otherwise they have a massive selection of well priced and decent food! The staff are always SO friendly and accommodating. One of the better takeaway stores in Hamilton, and been a haunt of ours for a couple of years now!

Our go to for Chinese takeaways in Hamilton. I have ordered mainly via Uber Eats (as we live on the other side of town), but it’s worth the drive too! The Chinese meals are family friendly, generous, fast, tasty, hot and fresh - and the service is excellent.Would definitely recommend.

Ordered on New Years Eve, amazing food, great portions and friendly service. The Chicken fried rice has to be best in the area. Our friends raved about their order of sweet and sour with pork and sweet and sour with prawns, that it was so good.. Highly recommend you try them for a takeaway.

No stars for me. Sweet and sour chicken was disgusting, the batter was doughy and the chicken overcooked and the bites were mainly batter.. the sweet and sour sauce had too much sugar.The battered oysters had too much batter and the batter was too doughy and mushy..The chips tasted like the oil hadn't been replaced in a few days..Definitely not going here again.

I'm sorry to say we had best experience two years before and I have recommended rex and Nikki to several others, but unfortunately we ordered today but its with so much regret I edit my previous review to say how unsatisfied with the quality of food. There was no taste, unseasoned meat, basically it was tasteless. Please improve the quality as before.

We bought a massive feed for the family tonight. The fish & chips, were huge, crispy and delicious!! Steak & Egg Burgers were yummy, Fish Burger was gorgeous. Chinese food was fresh, flavourful and delicious!! I highly recommend this store if you want great food. Friendly, warm service too, will definitely be back, thank you!!

Sweet and sour pork is to die for! Also their deep-fries are awesome. Had corn fritter- perfectly battered and cooked! And donut was also very good with cinnamon sugar. Won tons are yummy as are the crab sticks. All perfectly cooked and crisp and can tell the oil is fresh. Cheers for the yummy food <3
