The food and coffee was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Prices are good especially for that level of food quality.

I loved this place. We were on a road trip and had a quick stop for a bite. I loved the breakfast burger. All the items were so nice and tasty and the coffee was nicely done.The decor, the staff and the vibe make you want to visit there anytime.Well done to the team.

Good food, great service, yummy mocha!! The white choco latte doesn’t really taste like white chocolate though, but regardless, it’s still a great meal

Great place for coffee and breakfast. I went there twice when in Te Anau. Good coffee and muffin with raspberries and white chocolate for take away - 10$ only. Service is fast and staff is nice and friendly. I can also recommend brekfast salad. Yummy ❤️

Sandfly Cafe Te Anau
Hands down one of the best brunches I’ve had in New Zealand. The service was a little slow but the food definitely made up for it. We got the corn fritters and the hash brown stack and they were both phenomenal. The corn fritters were packed with corn and not too oily and the hash brown stack was such a big portion. We also got the savoury and sweet muffin to go and they were both super moist and flavourful. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever passing by!

Sandfly Cafe deserves its high rating. We arrived around 11.30am and the place was buzzing. No matter, the woman in charge was very efficient and everyone got served pronto.Inside seating was pretty much taken, but plenty of outside tables were free.Latte was good, the hummus and avocado sandwich was great, and brownie with berries was delicious.

Sandfly Cafe Te Anau
It’s been 3 weeks since I left NZ but I do still think about this cafe from time to time. The food is awesome - I had the sourdough toast and it was so chewy! Goes well with their homemade jam and butter. Their breakfast set was huge and delicious. Not in pictures - hash stack and their fluffy pancakes. We love this cafe so much we came back again the following morning.Will definitely be back the next time I visit Te Anau! Thank you for the lovely breakfast.
