Not a good place to stop on a weekend day local idiots like to desterb ya early hours your best to drive a little further up the track to Winchester

Nice place to stop overnight when on tour. We were driving a bit late into the evening and found this spot. Place has grassy fields to put up a tent or camp and is close to main road to get quickly get back on the road the next morning. Has basic facilities like toilet and water supply.

Beautiful place nice quite hear little traffic toilets very clean for non flash to ones lots of trees shade areas. Just so clean peaceful two rubbish bins locals very friendly I highly recommend this place

Nice spot, I was a bit worried about how wet the ground was but the access & departure was okay. Only reasonable road noise from a local road but quiet overnight.Local hooks had cut up the car park though.

Camping and picnic spot. Off the highway so plenty of trucks especially to the business at the bottom of the road. The grass area is well kept, provides shade. The dusty ring road is unkempt. A single picnic table sits in the middle of a knee high weed patch. Drop down toilet, tap water. A shallow fast flowing river. Good spot for tents. No fires. Good mobile coverage. Close to Temuka.

Sept 22A bit damp underfoot but heaps of space to find suitable spot,Found i could do a reasonable walk with small dog along the stop bank.Toilets, picnic table, rubish bins.Peaceful spot.Huge trees are awesome
