I really appreciated his taking the time to test my battery, explain the problem to me, show me the difference between the battery I had and a new battery, and answer all my questions. We had an emergency as our battery died on Sunday under a supermarket. Mr Vaughan came to help us as soon as he could bringing a spare battery. He replaced the battery on the spot, charging us only for the battery cost, which was very affordable. Wonderful service, honest and friendly man. Thank you!

If you're looking for the best place to buy batteries in Christchurch, you've found it. Vaughan was helpful, friendly, good value, and above all, extremely knowledgable. We had already tried a well-known more expensive battery place that told us our battery was OK, didn't know about the auxiliary battery, and couldn't explain why stop-start wasn't working. Vaughan explained that even a small loss in charge makes a big difference. He tested them twice, showing the batteries were weak. He fitted two new batteries and hey presto, stop-start worked straightaway. Very good value, too, far less than the other place wanted to charge. Vaughan's mobile service was also very prompt. Highly recommended!

Around Christmas last year I purchased a battery from VP (I think I was helped by Vaughan, forgive my memory). Not only was the price of a new battery less than half that quoted by other vendors, he basically installed the battery for me and was honest and great to deal with. Outstanding customer service and a great price. I was stranded in a supermarket carpark today with a dead battery that wouldn't even jump start. I called VP batteries and he was there within 10min, sorted me out a new battery and got me back up and running instantly. Highly recommend these guys, I will be getting all my batteries through VP Batteries in the future. Thanks so much for your help VP batteries, I would have been screwed without you.
