Done the track from Old Dusten Road to the hut - 13km good walk… had to go back through Glencreag Track as it was too windy to walk same way we went in (this one it is a steep hill but only about 5km)… tracks are not well taken care of… but you can fin your way through…Unfortunately the hut was also not well taken care of… very cold inside, no heat and could feel a breeze inside the rooms, and there was a lot of stuff probably from the club, old luggages, pots among others… not oitet paper, for those that are heading there… it was nice anyway… just not well looked after like a DOC hut… not sure it is lack of funding or easy money… but easy to book and good communication…The views are amazing and tracks are quite demanding of fitnesses… overall it was a good experience…
