Very clean place. Lovely chips but fish batter absorbed a lot of cooking oil/fat. And it didn't stay on the fish when eating. Such a shame as its value for money, & owners lovely

New owners Alan & Lisa since about October 2022. Elaine taught them well as their deep fried food like fish & chips are still good. But sadly, their Chinese meals are not. Granted I only had fried rice but I can probably tell if one dish is not good, then others will be not good either.My BBQ Pork fried rice was very salty. Maybe their other Chinese dishes are better but I am not keen to try ( at least not at this stage ).

Best fish n chips, if your from outta town, or just miss your hood from which you came, these fish n chips can take you back to anyway part of NZ, like a party on your taste buds.

Always pleasant and if regular Elaine will greet you by name. Fish is fresh and good sized portions, wedged and chips are well cooked

Got Battered fish, not crumbled. Although it tasted pretty fresh. Chips were almost like they had been reheated and were yuk. The young fella behind the counter that served me was doing the best he could given he didn't wanna be there lol The shop itself....could do with a coat of paint t and a little atmosphere.Not at all how I remembered my experience a few years back

Best ever. Friendly service and I don't know how she does it but she is very good with faces and names and when you make a phone order she know who she is talking to without saying your name if you've been a few times. Nicest people ever work here. Love the food and the odd chat .
