Methven camping ground

Very relaxing camp ground. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, as were all the guests we bumped into. We had an issue with our van half way through our stay, but one of the staff came out and helped us fix it meaning we could stay the whole time, yay!! (we had AA on route but didn't need them in the end!)The location is a stones throw from town, however long enough that you still get that camp ground experience. It means you can have a relaxing night in a lovely camp ground, or head into town and and have a few beers in the local pubs. Sites are spacious, facilities good and great hall with entertainment facilities.Def plan to come back again, would recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here. Facilities clean, owners super friendly and kitchen and lounge great spaces.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Owner/caretaker was super friendly and welcoming. Stayed in one of their cabins (mt Hutt on to be precise). Outside could use a bit a bit of paint but we were a bit shocked by the inside..... didn't expect it to be so good. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. They really should put some photos of the inside on their websites. You wont be dissapointed.

What an incredible camping ground. Amazing hosts, incredible games room, fully stocked kitchen, good showers, family friendly camp ground. Last minute bookings not a problem.... in fact nothing was a problem. Kind, down to earth hosts. As for Methven... so much to do! We will be back!!!!!! We are a family with a 5 and 7 year old. So much to do!

Super friendly host! Clean and up to date facilities (50c for a shower but well worth it hot water and enough time to fully clean). Kitchen well stocked with pots, plates, and cutlery. Also a large communal room with TV, pool table and ping pong. Wifi near the office but dies out pretty quick.

Nothing flash stayed in old cabin for week in that time managed to dispatch 3 mice plus had to walk small distance over wet Grass/mud to ablutions but in saying that it served a purpose

Excellent for TA walkers!$25 for a 1p cabin? Some holiday parks ask the same price just to pitch your tent!Very short walk to the town centre and great facilities! The kind of kitchen where you can cook everything!
