Just finished getting the full face wax and the eye trio at the shop on Taranaki st Wellington. Very affordable and the shop itself is quite relaxing and calming. My beautician was friendly and I like the way she talked me through the whole process (this was the first time I have ever done this). I was actually surprised with how fast my she was and how good the results are. I'm very happy with the outcome and will definitely be re-booking again for future events. Thank you for giving me some confidence and adding life to my face x

I went in to get my lashes done by Ellie and she was not professional how she behaved she got upset when I complained about how she was placing the tape around my eyes she started to say relax relax like i was crazy and started giggling and talking in her language.the whole experience was horrible she kept pulling on my eyelashes several times & my eyes stung from the glue and overall im not happy with my lashes she glued lashes to my water line will not be going back there again!!!

Been to many places in Wellington to get my lashes done and La Bises is by far the best place I have been to. Reasonable prices and the lashes last for ages if you look after them compared to other places I have been whi h fall out within a couple weeks. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Highly recommended!!

Kia ora ! Before i start , I have never booked an appointment here nor have i ever had any services done here . My friend for instants has , She had her eyelashes done on the 1st of may and they instantly started fallen out a week after the appointment !! And No before you reply and blame it on the client she has been getting her lashes done for 2 years and never had a problem like this in the past . But what also makes me shocked is the fact you guys never take accountability on your guys poor technique . Every bad review you receive you are very quick to put all the blame on the client and not take responsibility or accountability for your part . There is obviously a problem with the eyelash technician and you have to admit that . Every review for your eyelash services have been horrible! and as harsh as that sounds , take it as a learning curve . Improve ! make your clients feel happy with there lashes , no one wants to come on here and write a bad review. You guys need to sort out whatever is causing all these bad reviews for your lashes and stop blaming others for your lack of skills . If all your clients lashes are falling out then fix it not blame , SIMPLE .

Eyelash extensions fell out within 1 week, weren't connected to natural lash so wasn't a result of the natural lashes falling out. When I kindly explained this they blamed it on the 'weather' and refused to infill the eyelashes even for a discounted price. Don't pay $80 here to get poor quality extensions that last a week when you could support a business that takes pride in their work and respects their customers. Not to mention when I have previously had my lashes done here I often turned up to my appointment and had to wait 15 minutes outside for them to arrive.After reading other comments they seem to be consistent in taking no accountability and blaming the customer for their poor work

I've been here twice now and have both times found the customer service fantastic, even doing their best to fit someone in that came on the wrong day. My first time was via a grabone voucher and personally I always assume less than the best service when using these, but the lovely women here were fantastic. Had lash extensions done today and though it's day 1, they look amazing and they did a great job on them along with my henna brows.

The facial/hairwash/massage wasn’t as relaxing as I thought it would be, and it was my first time getting a facial treatment (and my first time booking here).The staff were friendly but there was only one who could speak English. The person in charge of my facial treatment couldn’t so they had to keep calling this person over when they tried to ask me if it was fine, or when I tried to say basic things like the water was too hot.The space was small and all of the lights were on, so it was pretty bright with my eyes closed. A kid kept coughing by reception. Other random loud noises during the session like the clanks of the shower-head next to me while washing my hair, someone microwaving something, and staff talking near me rather than whispering. Didn’t get asked what massage pressure I wanted or if I was ok (like in other massage places), and like I said before the water was too hot at times.On the plus side, some parts of the massage were good and my face felt smooth when I left.

Recieved a wax service and the wax was way too hot when she applied it.Also decided to get my lashes done in which I have realised they have a purple tint to them in the sunlight.It did not feel like she took her time or care in making sure she was doing a good job. Instead, it felt rushed.The store was also very dirty and cold which says alot in itself. I have been to more than a few beauty salons and this one was by far my worst experience. Would not recommend.

As usual a fantastic time at the La Bises beauty We had a couples teeth whitening followed by a luxury facial. It was my husband first ever facial and he was very anxious about having one but he was made to feel at ease and loved it.

Such reasonable pricing. They accommodate to be able to get you in and their eyelashes are AMAZING - not to mention, application is really quick and the quality isn't compromised as a result. Staff are so so lovely and they also occasionally send a facebook message thanking you for being a regular which is lovely. I have recommended this place to half of the girls in my office. We all come here now! The massage chairs in the waiting room are also a plus!
