I got Merson to quote for a roof clean after a horrendous quote from HB branch of a national company (E.. and H..). Merson's quote was far more reasonable, for more work, and the end result was also better than when I'd used the other company in Hawke's Bay.

Asked for an estimate, got it quite smartly and I agreed the estimate. I was told the job would be done in three weeks. Waited four weeks and tried to contact this firm by telephone and email. I got no response whatsoever; could not even be bothered to tell me they were not coming. Total lack of courtesy, professionalism and common decency.

I originally received a message back & was told the spouting he had measured but was to wet to get on the roof. I asked when he could come back but no response then sent another 2 messages over the next 2 weeks after & received no response. I will not contact them again & have taken my money elsewhere & using another company that actually responded.

I sent and email and got an immediate response. They responded that they were on holiday until 14th January and would contact me on their return. Couldn't ask for better than that. Looking forward to hearing from them tomorrow.

We had a re chip re spray of our roof quoted, after many calls and a lot of patients this was done in a half arsed manner. Edges and capping's were missed chips were hit and miss, tiles were not popped as per quoted and nails not nailed down.When we complained it was ignored and when finally we got them back to fix a leak they still didn't fit the issues. They may be reasonably priced but its not worth the drama.
