Abel Estate

Abel Estate (same owners as Tui Hills) purchased the venue in 2021 and did the most stunning renovation in 2022! Lucky me! We had a couple of in-person meetings and virtual meetings leading up to the day. The venue looked absolutely stunning, the bridal room was excellent - I would highly recommend getting the bridal room, as you and your groom/wife will need somewhere private to use the bathroom and you also have way more stuff than you think you will on the day. The drinks were tasty, the food was delicious, the staff were excellent. They even kindly packed my items up for me and gave them to me, including the leftover cake, at the end of the night. The only thing I would say about this venue is that the staff treat it like a corporate business, instead of a hospitality business. This is great if you want things to run exactly to timeline, as our day did. But me being in the travel/tourism/hospitality industry, I like a bit of flexibility and wriggle room. In saying that, I wasn't the easiest bride to deal with and they did make adjustments for me to accommodate some things that were important to me, so just ask ahead of time!

This wedding venue is amazing, the staff are very helpful since day one of our preparation, they listen to our needs and suggestions open mindedly. The foods are chef's kiss, we love it so much, our guests are from overseas but they love it! Big shoutout to Stevie, Nikki and Chloe, these angels are gems. Thank you so much!

Abel Estate was a beautiful place to get married. If it was raining we could have the ceremony inside. The photographer was friendly and put us at ease. Lovely friendly staff.

We had known that Abel Estate was where we wanted to get married a handful of years ago because of the beautiful location and finally were able to decide on a date at the end of 2022. We confirmed our date and booked it on the same day as our viewing. Ruth and Stephanie who looked after us were nothing short of incredible and were there to answer any questions we had, no matter how silly I thought they were. Having the ability to pay for the decoration package and then select the details made a seemingly daunting task pretty simple. We were able to pick from a selection of decorations and show our colour scheme to make everything cohesive. With six months from booking ‘til the big day, it was crunch time and we had a lot to decide on between our meetings, but we were helped through every step. The food and drink were delicious and the range of options suited everyone in attendance. Stephanie did an incredible job on the day making sure that mine and my husband’s families were well taken care of, as well as making sure my husband and I were eating and drinking between socialising too. The day went perfectly and the beautiful venue made it a great time for us, and our family and friends. We couldn’t offer higher praise for the work everyone did for our special day. I would recommend Able Estate for any future weddings! Our big day couldn't have gone any better with the help of the friendly and professional staff. They definitely know what they are doing. Beautiful views and photo locations. The new renovations are amazing. Been here before our wedding and is a massive difference.

As a wedding photographer I have found Abel Estate to be a great venue with supportive staff and a great vibe. The grounds are immaculate and there are multiple places for great photo opportunities. The Homestead is spacious and light, with great window light (for even better photos). The bridal suite is cute too.

Abel Estate venue is the ideal venue for all special occasions. I celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday at this beautiful venue. The reception, food, drink and service was exceptional. All my guests had an amazing time, I would definitely plan another special celebration here again.

Venue was beautiful. Food was great but the staff were the number one experience that made our day special. They are extremely helpful and caring. Price is also very competitive compared to other venues.
