Malcolm Barker

We are renting a property where Malcolm Barker had installed a heat pump.The heat pump was placed in the dining right next to the wall next to the ranch doors. On the opposite side it is facing a wall.The instruction manual says that the distance has to be 15 cm away from the wall and ceiling which it is not. After 30 years of expertise you would think they should now.It is especially sad that there is room to put the heat pump so that the air doesn't blow into the wall and actually goes into the lounge.It doesn't make it around the archway through the corner.And it doesn't have fins that tilt left or right for direction. So it blows our ranch door curtain.When called and asked about the reasoning for the heat pump's location he said to my partner that he took advice from the real estate agency".Malcolm was also a bit rude on the phone.I must add

Malcolm Barker supplied & installed a heat pump in a rental property for me. I am very pleased with the installation and the price was very good. I recently had an issue with an older heat pump in another rental property. I asked Malcolm if he could diagnose what was wrong and estimate the cost to repair. He promptly came the next day and was able to quickly sort the issue for the tenant which was great and he did not charge for this :-) I have found Malcolm knowledgeable and very professional in his work and I highly recommend him.
