Washpod Hobsonville

Paid for the most expensive was ($19 +$2 for the underbody spray if I remember correctly) and it barely cleaned my car. Cleaned about as well as a heavy rain shower. Was so disappointed I washed my car by hand the next day. This place might be ok if you're car is waxed with a bit of surface dust but anything more and I wouldn't waste your money.

Sadly used them for the first time.. and will be the last time.. did the $19 wash and I have to say used similar wash before on my car but this one still left my windows dirty... and the dry did not even dry remotely a bit.. I did email the business too but sadly no reply.. I will not go back no matter the convenience.

Would not go again! Same as many other reviews, it doesn't clean the car.. and I'm not talking about some road grimes that the owner has responded on some of the reviews that are not the focus of touchfree carwash.. we took a car in that was fully detailed and groomed at the car yard (new) literally about 2 weeks ago, and was hardly even dirty.. but still not satisfied with the clean unfortunately

Does a decnet job of cleaning your car using spray only. I see this place being useful if your car has some kind of paint protection already applied like coating or wax of some sort as it will easily remove most of the dirt and grime and leave only water beading off like mine did. Any baked on mud or dirt from the road will be hard to remove as that requires physical hand wash so don't expect your car to be sparkling clean when you come here. I recommend bringing a waterless car spray of a brand of your choosing with towels or microfiber cloth to remove any excess dirt after the wash. Best part is this has an underbody water jet spray that you drive over upon entry so take your time there to get most of that part of the service. If your in need of a quick rinse and wash this is the place, but if your looking for a detailed car wash then try your luck with the brushes at wash world.

2 out of my 3 experiences with this place have been awful. The most recent one (today) included my $20 executive wash finishing very quickly- skipping steps- leaving my car still dirty but now with added soap on top that wasn’t removed properly.On calling them they stated that it was a faulty wash bay that they were aware of and that a technician needed to come and fix it. If they knew there was a fault then why not get a sign up to stop people entering?Worst car wash place, an absolute joke and I’m never coming back- and I’m telling those around me the same thing. The BP car wash up the road did a much better job.

Went to Washpod 2 weeks ago paid $18 and entered the Washpod only to be told by machine to back up. The pod then directed me to drive forward and back again, obviously faulty. I rang customer service and logged the fault with them and gave them my email address they said they would contact me in 2 days with decision of whether or not to refund me. Haven’t heard from them. Slack customer service. I expect a refund for services paid for but not received.

I love the Washpod. Touch free means no scratches and the underbody wash makes cleaning the ute a breeze. I use it to keep the cars clean in between hand washing.Only wish was that the max height was slightly higher. Found a 2.4M limit Washpod-style wash in Queenstown and it fit the ute with the roof rack perfectly.

Really expensive for what it is! Selected the 16$ wash which didn't wash car properly or dry car properly, check out the rear windscreen in the photo, just appalling you should be ashamed of this Lazer wash please fix this!! Real hit and miss on how clean your car will afterwards. Pretty stock standard for the price per wash.
