Aspiring Helicopters

One of the best things we’ve ever done! Andrew was a fantastic pilot and took some great photos for us. I wish we chose a longer trip because being inside the helicopter was such a thrill and really enjoyable (and this is coming from someone who hates flying in planes!)A truly unique way to experience the gorgeous mountains and surrounds of Mt Aspiring

We spent a week in South Island, but did not really have good time due to the weather.I tried to find something good on our final day of the trip before leaving South Island, and found this amazing tour.The weather finally got fine, and the tour was fantastic.It was the first time for us to fly with a helicopter.The staff at their reception welcomed us and gave us all necessary briefing and the pilot was also friendly and supportive.We enjoyed very comfortable flight and amazing scenery, and exciting landing on glacier!I really want to have another tour with them.I appreciate their service, and they made our trip really cool.They are very convenient location from Wanaka town.

Employees here went above and beyond to make sure the experience was memorable and full of highs. In particular, our pilot (whose name I forget) was knowledgeable of the area and great at getting us close to the mountains while in the air for some jaw-dropping views. Not to mention a few lengthy stops, which were great opportunities for photographers and families or anyone willing to pay really. Highly recommended. Much more person experience than trips out on the fox and Franz glaciers

Oh my gosh BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I have lived in Wanaka for the last 5 years and finally booked in a helicopter flight to Mount Aspiring. We did 2 stops, and we had the best pilot called Andrew. He told us so much about the different mountains, nature, and history. We felt safe and enjoyed every minute. I can’t believe how beautiful this place is, and experiencing it from above is just absolutely mindblowing. Worth every penny!

What a great experience! On very short notice and in weather that was not ideal, Aspiring Helicopters were extremely accommodating and patient. Michelle was so friendly and happy to do everything she could to get us in the air within only an hour or so notice. Then our pilot, James, was fantastic in doing what he could to ensure we had a great adventure. They all were willing to be flexible and work out a plan to provide us with some lifelong memories. We're very grateful.Thoroughly recommend.

Well where do I start. This trip was nothing short of fantastic. We originally were going to do a shorter flight but decided to do the hour flight. And boy was that the right decision. 2 touch downs on a mountain. One on the snow where we went to a glacier. The other on the tip of the mountain. The views were spectacular. The pilot was very knowledgeable and the staff were very accommodating. Best piece of advice I can give you is take the longer flight. It’s worth every cent. Thanks Aspiring Helicopters for the best time of our lives. We’ll definitely be back.
