Perfection Nails and Spa - Westfield Albany

I was pleased with the quality of my gel manicure, however, there are a few things I would like to comment.- The water I soaked my nails in to soften my cuticles was cold water… it wasn’t pleasant and relaxing.- Not one nail technician including mine, wore gloves. I find it unhygienic and puts the client at risk of bacteria and fungi cross contamination between clients.- The hand massage was extremely rushed and soft. It didn’t feel like a hand massage. When you pay for a service, your expect it to be quality. Especially when it’s $55 every 2/3 weeks.

Best nail experience I’ve had in a long time! When I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff, whereas at other nail places you are often ignored. Tracey did my nails she was such a friendly, bubbly girl. On top of that she did a great job with my nails. Thank you so much!

An amazing place! First time to have manicure here and I was like what did I do for the past months why I went to city every time!!! I am extremely satisfied with the service and the look of my nails now! And Lily is the beeeeest!!!!!

The girls were so friendly and helpful despite having a really busy day. They did my nails perfectly, much better than other places I've gone to! The color selection is amazing, so many to choose from. I'll definitely be coming back in a few weeks.

My experience at this salon was below average I’d say.Upon arriving for my appointment, one of the staff asked me what I was having done (Gel Extensions) which I had stated over the phone when I made the appointment. Once this was established I was seated.While waiting to be helped, I was asked 3 more times what service I was having, which I found quite unprofessional, but I didn’t say anything as I thought maybe there were a few people that may be helping me.Still waiting to be seen, I felt a tickle at the back of my throat. I started to cough and tried to stifle it as best I could but was not once asked or offered and drink to try help.Finally one of the staff members comes to help me and begins my nail service. Throughout the service she was rough with my nails and there were often times where I felt quite a bit of pain and discomfort. She made no effort to speak to me other than a few words asking how long I wanted my nails, what shape and what colour.One the service was completed I was pleased with the finished result and although my fingers felt a bit tender I was happy to pay.Now this was on 18/09/2022, I am writing this review on 21/09/2022, only 3 days post service. 3 of my nails have chipped, 2 of which I’ve repainted to now they are a different colour and 1 of them has now come off completely exposing the damage left behind.I’m very disappointed that I’ve not even gotten a weeks wear out of these nails and the only reason this has a 2 star review is because they actually looked decent after the initial service.

Absolutely appalling experience.Today I went in to get both a shellac pedicure and manicure and despite not being busy they wanted to rush my treatments. This resulted in nail water being tipped in my lap which soaked my clothes. I then had to balance the shellac curing machine on my lap for my manicure whilst also getting my pedicure done. The curing machine then ended up burning my lap. When I spoke to the manager to tell her about what happened the best she could do was offer me 10% off vouchers for the next time. I can safely say there will never be a next time.

Had a great spa pedicure here today for myself and my daughter. They were able to fit us in as walk ins. Had one clinician stick with me the whole time. She was able to pick out all the issues with my feet. She was polite and nice. Would return again
