Mama Ree Thai Street Food
I usually don't give 5 stars to restaurants, but this place deserves it. We ordered 3 things, all 3 were delicious, generous portions and reasonably priced. Most dishes also had vegetarian options with tofu. BYO available for $10 per bottle of wine. Order 1 level down from your usual spice level. I don't think the restaurant has its own parking, but parking at BK across the road might work.

We had a table for 6 booked early (6:30 pm). Very warm welcome on arrival.We shared 3 plates of Entrées which were delicious. A main course each which were good sized portions and came with rice.We'd bought 3 bottles of wine (BYO).The service was super friendly and not rushed (family catch-up after too many years) and we didn't get or feel pressured.The account was very reasonable for the selection, portion size and quality. Around $38.00 a head all up.If you're apprehensive about the spice heat levels simply ask for Kiwi Medium" otherwise the default might be a little warm. Still

Very nice Thai authentic food prepared by the Thai Chef. We enjoyed the Thai food when at Christchurch. Must Try the the crispy pork salad . Love it

Best Thai food in town with friendly homelike environment, although it takes quite a long time for our food, we will definitely come back sometimes

Very delicious Thai food, ask for Thai spice if you good at eat spice food! Cannot miss the Tom Yom soup, you will love it! also nice and friendly service, staff even remember your last order about a week ago.
