Ahipara sand dunes
We walked out here, 45 minutes but not a hard walk. We loved climbing the dune and sliding back down on our boards. Make sure you leave plenty of time to walk around the tracks as tide is going out, time to play and then walk back. Have seen paragliders catching up drafts here, looks like loads of fun.

Best scenic view of Ahipara-Ninety miles beach in this area. Always check tide table before you go hiking. I enjoyed bear foot hiking from Shipwreck bay .
