YWCA Hamilton

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 10 days and as a frequent traveller I was amazed by this hostel! By far the best I've stayed in, I would recommend staying here if you want to mingle with some of the nicest people around Hamilton. Our room was a great price, the cleanliness of the place was great, the kitchen area was nicely spaced (at least on the 3rd floor) and the staff were helpful, and friendly from the moment we walked up the driveway! I have come across good hostels and bad hostels but I assure you this is one of the good ones. We are looking forward to our stay again in the near future, and thank you to everyone who made the experience so good!

Had a fantastic food dining experience in the chapel there. They hire it for private functions. Cool spot. Heaps of history painted on the walls

Good parking lot, pleasant enough people.Below average service and staff that don't seem to care.

Stayed here for over a month, Staff and people are friendly. Location of the hostel is in good proximity to Pac n Save, the lake and CBD. Cleaners do a great job to maintain the shared facilities.

The hall we were given for our event was roomy and had enough lighting. There are heaters in the room and a kitchen as well for preparing and serving food. The staff are both professional and friendly.

Sorry accidently pressed one star earlier on for this. Excellent place to stay if you rely on public tranportation. And wonderful ywca staff.

Staff are careless rude obnoxious unfriendly and not the best to look at when walking through reception. Awful atmosphere and the place is full of dirty old men who live there full time. Would never recommend this hostel

Really nice, quiet most times like today, Staff are nice and real, good place for both short term and long term residents. cheaper than most tertiary housing in hamilton. good job YWCA

The staff is super friendly. Located nice and quiet. Communal areas are clean. Everything works. Private room for a slightly higher price of a hostle. Nothing to complain about. Would recommend to any backpacker that looks for a place to get things organized or just needs some privacy and a good clean bed.
