Briscoes Hamilton

One of my favourite shops! It is so good that I need to be careful that I don't just pick everything in the shop.One thing that I have discovered is that if I am looking for a particular item which is not in my local store, I can use THEIR computer and order it online - it will be delivered without cost!! What a great service!I'll be back!

Good central location. Good amount of parking spaces at the front or side street. But KFC drive through queue often blocks the carpark and it's entrance. Staff Kilian was really helpful at the counter and as he was also aware what happening, such as serving a customer at the counter but noticing the queue was forming quickly at checkout, he PA and asked any available staff to come to the front counters at help. As a rule of thumbs, if you are not in a hurry, wait for the specials/discounts to come around, weekly or fortnightly as at RRP their prices are more expensive than others for exact items.

Extremely disappointing and more expensive and time consuming than it should have been! got an email saying my order was ready to collect around 7 days after I ordered I drive half an hour across town to pick it up, part of the order is missing so that's an hour's driving for half of my order and I have to come back later because apparently all emails are automated and you will get an email saying that your order is ready to collect but it's not ready to collect and there's nothing anybody can do about it because the computer sends the emails according to the girl I spoke to and there is no way for them to see any of the details of your order definitely wouldn't trust ordering online through this store. EDIT Just going through the things that they actually had from my order and two of them are damaged I will never ever be shopping at any briscoes again and will definitely recommend other people don't either

store is abit small but has enough for what i needed, staff are great.

Its in a weird spot and is hard to find a park for, but the shop is quite nice and tidy and have all the normal stuff you would need from a briscoes.

Bought a cast iron pan there, which cracked twice. The first one cracked from the edge to the centre while it's heating up, and we literally heard the cracking. Went back there and the man was nice and selected another one for us. The second one had a little crack, went back again, and the supervisor was very rude and keep knocking on the pan with the pen while talking to me. She didn't even think that was dangerous because the frypan cracked while cooking. But she did question me why come to get a new one again not a refund...I went speechless. I admitted I put the second frypan in a dishwasher After it cracked and Didn’t do that before it cracked, even for the first one. She wrote ‘3rd pan in as many months’ on my receipt. Yes! But I would worry about the quality and safety first not suspecting why the customer coming back, again and again, to just get a new pan…This is not customer service, I don’t think this is how Briscoes treats customers. By the way, if I remember correctly, her name is Tracey, and another unlucky customer mentioned her name too, so this is just how she is dealing with the customers...

Good range of products, helpful staff

A bit expensive so best time to buy during sale. It’s very big and has variety of things. Good parking space as well.

Absolutely brilliant staff. Went over and above to find a particular umbrella that I have been searching for from multiple stores and from other businesses. They literally had one left. Perfect. Couldn't ask for better service.

I would have given a 5 star rating, but I've always hated the layout of the parking area. The parks that are closest to the shop are a one-way in/out, and it is quite small. If you've never been here before, you will find yourself going back & forth often to try fitting in a park, and then you may find you'll come across impatient drivers who will toot you. The staff here are nice but they lack a choice of pills cases for the v-shaped pillows. I use briscoes often as you can pay using afterpay.
