We went to the skate board park there but didn't stay long as the sea breeze is pretty strong.The had lovely sculptures around the place.And a great walk along the river going pass town and all the way up to the maitai.Next to the skate board bit the have a log obstacle course which is fun for the kids.There is also free parking.

I walk my dog daily there. I enjoy the uplifting and spiritual walk beside the rivers . Always meeting new people. Lovely skate park for kids. And love the new art piece that moves! New bridge representing,maori Waka, such a welcoming spirit. And positive vibes.

Beautiful location at the mouth of the Maitai River. The native trees and shrubs create a natural landscape on the edge of the city.

I spent time in this park while waiting for someone attending a conference at the Trafalgar Centre. It is located right alongside the river. It has beautiful walking trails, open and very well kept green spaces, and a skateboarding(?)scooter riding area. I found the portion of it that I visited very relaxing and an excellent area for families to spend time with young children and pets.

Pleasant park by the water with plenty of parking and decent sculpture. Close to supermarket, eateries and the Trafalgar centre.

Nice place to stroll around near the river, with a few interesting sculptures, commemorative gardens, native plantings, benches, skate park.
