Good food. I enjoyed the vegetarian stuffed capsicum, it was a bit different to the usual vegetarian dishes. They serve generous size meals. Staff were friendly. It was a bit noisy, although there was a big group.

Generous servings of Ribs and chips and my portion of chicken parmigiana.. huge lunch meal..!Very tastyHowever, when i asked for a cup of tea to have with our meal.. only could offer a glass of cold water..thats a bit disappointing.. especially when we dont consume alcohol or soft drinks..

Went here for dinner. I ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs which were really good and delicious. The portion was very generous with a lot of ribs. This dish was very good value for money at $31. This place also has a really nice atmosphere. Overall I would recommend coming here.

Great value tasty meals, large servings. The kids loved the fish n chips and Thai salad. I had the Steak n Guinness pie (would have been rude not to) which was perfect for a wintery evening. We didn't expect foodie level offerings, but we were pleasantly surprised.Great location too.An excellent spot to relax and unwind, enjoy a casual meal, a few brews.

Food was good but staffing were a bit off. had to get up and get our own cutlery after getting the food. I understand it’s been hard here but a lot of the tourist attractions were closed due to damage so only places to go are food, not hard to be a bit more happy and make the coromandel more enjoyable.

We arrived an hour ahead of kickoff intending to stay the evening. We took the smallest table available at time of arrival that had a view of the game, ordered drinks & food and settled in. Unfortunately, despite our waiter being perfectly lovely, there was one particular server that was hovering around tables that didn’t look “full”, and who eventually asked (while we were mid-meal) “how long are you going to be here?”. Had we been asked if we were interested in moving to a smaller table if they could clear one, we would have 100% been open to this. His demeanour left us feeling like we should spend our money elsewhere, so we proceeded to finish the food and drinks we had and get up to leave before kickoff. As soon as we stood up he was clearing our table asking “are you done”, instead of asking what else we would have liked. We stopped en route home to buy a couple of bottles of wine from the local bottle-O (great service there, 10/10 would recommend).

Been here a handful of occasions. Food is mediocre at best. On the last two occasions had the ribs. Thought the 1st time round it was just a bad night in the kitchen. Had another go last night, however, Ribs were tough, tasted like the meat was boiled and masked by sauce. They use a Broad rib with very little meat on it. Better try something different I thought and ventured into chicken burger territory. Let just say, fortunately I don't have high blood pressure. (enough salt to make a baboon reveal his water source). Maybe the pizza's are better? Not brave enough to find out. Nice venue though and they have a couple of good beers on tap.

We decided to have a bit of lunch here and instantly regretted it. Upon arrival at the bar it was evident to me that the staff weren’t really interested in providing a pleasurable service (very grumpy) we ordered burgers and fries for two and beef sliders with an order of fries for the third of us.We got everything except for the fries with the order so we went to the counter on our way out to complain and get our refund, the “manager” had a awful attitude and eventually refunded us with a very sarcastic have a nice remainder of your day.For the life of me I don’t know why people who have no customer service do this kind of work.Do yourself a favor and miss this place if you want a pleasant eating experience in Whitianga. It was very embarrassing to say the least.

Nice environment. Friendly staff. Great food and well located. Tables are not very comfortable but the rest was really good. We ordered chicken parmigiana and it comes with salad and crunchy fries.
