Moeraki Boulders Motel

Very clean.. owners/ proprietors one of the best I've ever met..friendly..knowledgeable in the area.. and for someone visiting from out of country like myself..I highly recommend to stay here then the other places.. I stopped by two others prior to stopping here.. This is the one to stay at..

Very comfortable beds and the unit was extra clean and tidy with all you need for a short stay. Great location with a range of eating options close by including a mini supermarket. I will definitely come again.

Dave and Lynette are awesome hosts and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Definitely a great decision to stay two nights

These guys were super friendly and accommodating! We left Invercargill in the evening after an all-day activity, and were trying to get as far north as we could. The hotels in Dunedin were much too pricey for our budget, and we were starting to wonder where on earth we were going to stay when we saw the sign for Hampden Court. It was after the office had closed, but one of the family members (family-owned motel) was still around and set us up with a room. Told us just to pay in the morning when his dad was back in the office. Our room had a separate bedroom with a double bed, a twin in the sitting room, a kitchenette, and bathroom. The place was very clean and we were very comfortable. So glad we found this place!

Great place to stay if you want to see the moeraki boulders. Supermarkt is just around the corner, the Apartments are spacey and best of all the wonderful staff!!Moeraki boulders are just a 5 minute drive away by the way.I would definitely come back :-)

We had a big, clean and modern room. There is a supermarket right next to the motel. It is located near the boulders, also close to the lighthouse where we saw sea lions, seals and the very rare yellow eyed penguins. I would always come back again, this is a nice place.

Excellent location in the middle of Hampden. Rooms have all you need for your stay. Friendly owners. Close to the pub, supermarket, cafe, beach and Moeraki.
