Nice spot next to the marina. The food was nice, we ordered the pork belly and the market fish risotto, not enough to fill you up if you’re really hungry but tasty nonetheless. We had a few drinks which were nice. We went on a night they were having a function so they closed early but I’d say the service was 5 star. The reason they are getting a 3 star review is because the whole time we were there the manager was making his rounds asking how everyone’s food was and didn’t bother to say anything to us even though we were one of the last to leave. I feel some type of way about this like maybe it happened because we didn’t “look” like the typical customer that would come eat there. Didn’t like his vibe, probably won’t go back.

Delicious dinner in lovely surroundings. Sat by a large opened window which gave us views of the boats in the marina (felt like we were sitting outside without being outside). Although there was a little bit of a wait for our mains, our large meals came out piping hot and all at the same time. The steak meals ordered were cooked to perfection. Staff were awesome, food & drinks were great.

The location is great by the boat marina. The staff were friendly. However, 3 star rating from there.It was just okay" on our visit. Our orders were mixed up. From wrong drinks through to meals just okay for most of the party. Price is quite steep if you factor in sides

Amazing food and atmosphere Dec 8th. I had the beef brisket sliders WOWEE so delish, ordered market fish (snapper) risotto for dinner and that was absolutely delish. Would recommend eating the fish 1st to get all that yummy flavour. Would give overall experience 4.5 stars bcos the cheesecake was disappointing. The portion was so tiny on a massive plate. The taste was not the best. But ate most of it bcos I wasn't paying for dinner that night. Will need to take my family there one day. Toilets were nice and clean too, our waitress was amazing, excellent service always with a smile.

I recently visited Grangers with my family on Mother's Day, and despite the initial crowd, we had a wonderful experience. Grangers proved to be a fantastic choice for a family outing, offering enough space for privacy even during busy times.The service at Grangers struck a perfect balance between relaxed and prompt. The staff members were attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met without being overly intrusive. They seemed to understand that families appreciate a comfortable and laid-back atmosphere.When it comes to the food, Grangers delivered satisfyingly generous portions. While not mind-blowing, the dishes were far from bland. The flavors were well-balanced, leaving us content and satisfied with our meals. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a hearty dinner without feeling overwhelmed or excessively pampered.Overall, Grangers is an excellent choice if you're looking for a restaurant to take someone special who prefers a relaxed dining experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the spacious layout allows for privacy even during busy periods. Whether it's a family outing or a casual date, Grangers provides a pleasant environment and delicious food. I would certainly recommend it for those seeking a low-key yet enjoyable dining experience.

I was impressed with the number of chefs and staff in a time when hospitality is struggling. Bridie was an excellent waitress. We ordered their fabulous sourdough as a starter, Fish of the Day, snapper with prawns on risotto and Lamb Rack. All nicely presented and delicious. The mark up on the Squealing Pig sav was extreme but the view and ambience made for an enjoyable evening.

Extremely disappointed!We come here all the time for drinks and when taking family out for dinner. Spent a fortune here at Christmas when family were over from overseas.Although we are vegetarian and the vegetarian options are terrible the food has always been good even if we must have the same thing every time - pumpkin ravioli.Last night that ONLY vegetarian main meal was not available. We asked if they could make something up and they said no. We asked if they could just leave the chicken out of their curry and they said no. So the only vegetarian option was apparently a small plate a burrata. That’s a required taste so should not be the only option for a dietary requirement.My partner wanted to get the shellfish option as he will eat shellfish now and again…. That was not available. So he was now in the same predicament as myself.We ended up ordering 2 sides each because we were otherwise left with only a leafy salad to order. No, us vegetarians also like to feel full and have some flavours. We literally ordered potatoes and two veg, something I could have made at home.When we expressed our disappointment to a waitress she apologised and said they had a dietary menu. We were in disbelief that this hadn’t been told to us. She brought us over the dietary menu which turned out to be the exact same menu that was on the table. She pointed to the salad section and said they can make this vegetarian for you. I said to her, this is the same menu as we have on the table and you’re just pointing to the salads that are already vegetarian. We want a vegetarian main meal! She had nothing to say and so we ate our food and left. I would much prefer you didn’t lie about a dietary menu and just admit you do nothing for vegetarians.It’s so disappointing because the atmosphere and location is great! Coming into a recession I would be cautious not to lose long term customers based on your own laziness regarding your menu. Please ensure there are at least two main meals which are vegetarian. It’s 2023!I must also mention that while the restaurant was quite empty? You had staff standing and talking to eachother while we waited about 30 minutes for someone’s attention to get a drink and dessert for the child.We usually wouldn’t make a review, but our feedback seemed to fall on deaf ears and we have mentioned many times about having more vegetarian options.We won’t be back sadly.

Beautiful looking menu. Clean, bright, maritime decor. Chill, professional yet lovely staff and a man on the deep-fry section who really looks like he knows the business. The cocktails are world class. It’s pricey but I’ll be back!
