2 Cheap Cars - Wairau

Make sure when you buy there are two sets of keys, have the car checked by an AA inspector, and test drive them. They will not clean the car thoroughly especially interior. Employees not very courteous or friendly. Cheap means not very good service. They will not go out of their way to help. Inspect the car thoroughly do your due diligence before you take the car. They will not volunteer what is wrong with the car. Doesn’t feel that they are honest or they don’t know their cars very well. I’ve bought second had cars before and they are not the best people to get from. They have all these list of Inspection check - they even have a check okay on the cruise control when the car doesn’t have a cruise control. I assumed they are in NZ so their honest but questionable. When I looked at the car on test drive, the car didn’t have these big scratch marks but when we came to pay cash and pick up the car they said that was there already. My word against their word so it’s no use. I already gave them a down payment. The car was really dirty when I picked it up- inside and outside. Not pleasant dealing with them.

Went to purchase car priced at $18059,They refused to round the price of to $18000 cash with no trade in.($59 dollars less than the asking price)and they refused.Won't be back there again.

Bought my first car from them roughly a year ago and have had issues ever since. Had to get a full new suspension because the spring on the front left broke when I went over a speed bump.Now a couple months later got a flat tyre put the spare on that is COMPLETELY rusted and has caused damage to the studs, nuts and spare wheel going to cost me $1k to get that fixed cause it’s not covered by the insurance while on finance they sold me.

Very friendly staff here. Purchased my first car at the Wairau branch and they made the process very easy for me. They did a wonderful job in advising me of all of the different options available. The salesman there also got me the rego plates on the day so I was able to drive away very quickly. Will be back again for my next car !!

Never buy a car from here! We bought a car from this place but had many issues. And their after service is Aweful! Omg!!!!

Do not buy a car from this company! My daughter recently bought a car from them with a faulty battery. It has been three weeks that she has contacted the claims team about this and they have agreed to change it initially but then they have not responded to her calls or emails and she has not been able to use the car that she had spent so much time saving up for! Always make sure you buy your car from reliable people to avoid these problems. I will make sure my daughter takes this matter further as it is not ok to see dodgy people like this in NZ!

Totally missed leading and false advertisement , please be aware of these guys check these cars they all 3.5 great 3 in half great Japan auction,, mean they are importingas a damage cars ,,, means check the Japan auction sheet !!!!!!!!

These guys don’t deserve any stars.Rude manager, and bad customer serviceWe had put a deposit down for this Mini Cooper to be told that it was going to be ready Monday the 30th! We came in on the 28th However never had word about it after !Then it came to collecting the refund I called wairua 2cheap cars to only get rude customer service with him talking over me not listening to a word then hanging up!I live out in west Auckland so travelled to get the refund to only hear that she had no idea the car was there and told me to go speck to a sales person???She then made the transfer of only 50$ When it was supposed to be 100$ , the customer service is terrible and needs to be addressed within head office immediately! The manager that is in charge is not very polite and rude! And thinks that she is too good for anyone! Other customers that day had walked away as she was so moody!We are still waiting on our 50$ Deposit.

Missing car partWe bought a car from this branch in early August and following car collection we noticed that the back-shelf of the car was missing.I contacted the sales staff and he responded quickly to confirm that the garage will send a replacement part directly to our home address; I still haven't received the missing item a month after the communication.I have followed up a couple of times but no response was received.FEB 2023 UPDATE - still nothing!After chasing further they responded to say they ordered the part a couple of months ago but still haven't received the missing part or any further contact from the team. I think they were just blanket email responses to stall and keep you from escalating the issues.
