Chanced upon this while enroute to Wellington from auckland, and stopped by once more when we made the return trip.Prices are reasonable (with most mains under $20) with a great variety of hot and cold food choices. We had the fried rice both times, and would recommend to go for the beef fried rice. The wife was especially impressed by the hot chocolate.There is also a public toilet situated just a few steps beside the shop.

Affordable and tasty meals, inside and outside dining areas. Nice selection of hot and cold food. Close to public toilets and petrol station. Complimentary condiments available

This was essentially a Chinese takeaway/ fish and chip shop in Waiouru. Quite the spot for a takeaway joint. The food we ordered was good. The Chinese beef with noodles especially so. I had chicken and chips. The condiments it turned out, were free as there was a bottle sitting on another table as was the knives and forks. The place is run by a Chinese family and they run it very well. Nove food, pleasant custom.

Great place to stop for a quick bite. Grab a bag of hot chips for the road or sit down for a meal. You get a very good meal for what you pay. Good value for money
