Great atmosphere at this place. The lady at the reception was very nice. Tables are usually full so booking is recommended.Views around this place is good. Would recommend a tour too.Cabinet food has such a variety. We had lunch and cane home with desserts. Even though the place was pretty packed, service was fast.

It is such a beautiful corner of north shore and can be amazing but i would say very average service. The food look really pretty but taste very average. I had to ask a few times till someone finally showed up to take orders. I will go there again and hope they improve.

Sugar at Chelsea Bay
The quality of the food in this cafe has dropped significantly. I ordered Omelette and was shocked when the food was served in front of me, how bad it was! It's really the worst quality I've ever had. It is usually folded in half and placed on a plate with some green salad on top, but in this cafe it is directly spread on the plate, and the taste is also very bad.What's more, my friend and I finished eating, we both felt upset in our stomachs, we had diarrhea at the same time, and felt like vomiting.Until now, our stomachs have been uncomfortable. I think we have eaten food contaminated by bacteria.Will never eat here again.

Great location and kid friendly. Coffee and tea were as they need to be. The food was below par. Looked nice and flash on arrival, but tasted mediocre at best. Had the omelette where the chorizo was spungy and lacked flavor, with the omelette edges burnt. Wife ordered the waffles and they were yuck, doughy with flour like mouth feels, the saving grace being the store bought berry mascapone in it.

Had lunch here with friends for the first time and then ordered some bakes goods - very dangerous - there is so much to choose from in the cabinet (depending on the time of day I'm guessing) so if you're a sweet tooth or need something for an event check this café out. I ordered the eggs benedict with bacon and a hot chocolate for lunch. Thank goodness the brekkie menu is available after brekkie time. I am hoping to be able to go on the factory tour once they start back up again so keeping my eyes peeled for this! There's also a bunch of Chelsea products to buy near the entrance e.g. spatulas, aprons, cake tins, etc. and a playground area for kids. A few short walks in the area as well.
