The first evening of the new year. Sign out saying they were short staffed which was totally understandable. We were warmly welcomed seated and drinks ordered. Even before we ordered our meals I could tell this team knows how to do calm under pressure. The only waitress on this night floated with ease from one table to the next making sure everyone was happy. Unfortunately they weren't doing pizzas because of the small team so we settled for something different. I had the mushroom risotto and my dad had the lamb, both were absolutely beautiful. Hope to try the pizza next time. Credit to Jesse and his chef team who were cooking up a storm in there. Thankyou!

Went Jesse’s for dinner as we are travelling around the north.There were 5 of us and every meal was delicious, tasty and well crafted. I had a lamb shank and apple pie for dessert. The shank was extremely tasty and fell apart easily, yet still very moist. The apple pie was divine. I wasn’t expecting a whole pie and had to share as much I would have liked to finish it all.My only critique was that the restaurant left the front door open on a cold night and the food went cold before we could finish it.

This place was delightful the best food and best service. Lots of parking, the manger/front of house has the most welcoming and takes the order hard and fast. Would recommend coming back Again

Jesse's on the Waterfront
We had dinner here over Easter weekend, shared an extra large pizza (half and half) which was delicious. Beautiful view over the harbour as the sun went down, it’s east facing and there was a full moon but it was hiding behind the clouds! The staff were friendly and welcoming, it was a really great experience

We had an amazing beef salad. Lots of different textures and so tasty. The staff were lovely and full of the joys of life. Would definitely recommend a meal here

We had eaten here in November 22 and even though we had to wait a while for our meals it was nice and male waiter was pleasant. Meals were good sized.Went back last night, place very quiet, greeted by guy who stayed at counter. Got our table. Got mains, hubby had pizza, nice. 2 of us had fish. Hardly one piece of fillet and coleslaw which had a very strange taste. Meals a lot smaller, menu smaller and prices up there.Waitresses after that never even looked at us, we're going to get another drink but no service. Had to ask to see dessert menu, so very disappointing this time.
