We had a super nice stay at Dangela. The place is homely, cute and in a nice, calm area with sheep around.Angela is the nicest host ever and you feel at home immediately from the arrival. I hope to have stayed longer!

What a delightful place to go! I took my best friend for a weekend escape and I tell you that I did not want to come home. The place is very handy to motorway but secluded and tucked away from any noise and city craziness. We were welcomed at arrival by the two amazing hosts Angela and Daniel who now are life time friends for us, they are warm welcoming and very friendly. You feel like being home, breakfast & dinner were amazing and Daniel's knowledge of wine is outstanding. The place is immaculate and simple said the Lodge is a great and very comfortable family home (OMG their bed was amazing ). Service exceptional, you will not regret going there and we are definitely going back soon.Thank you Angela and Daniel for your extraordinary hospitality and friendship. We love you both!

Less than one than one hour drive from Auckland. This is a perfect, recommendable place to relax, enjoy the quietness and a beautiful view. The bedrooms with comfortable beds are very clean, simply and beautifully decorated. Then, the hosts : Angela and Daniel are amazingly cheerful, available to chat and help.
