Mobile King - The Palms Mall, Christchurch

Not only did this business not fix my phone they destroyed it out of spite. This is an updated review to the last one my partner Aimee left. I came in store to get my phone and a refund. Firstly I was made to wait for 10 to 15 minutes for the manager to become available, during this time in was interrogated about Aimee's review. Once the manager became available I was told the refund had already been processed and I waited for nothing. The manager continued to stand there and interrogate me about the review with another employee. After another 5 mins or so I asked for my phone so I could leave. There is new damage to my device, the back of the phone was glued so poorly it fell off, the volume and power button were tampered with and now push into the device beyond the normal point and do not work, and there are chips on the side. When I took my phone in was a quick fix, now it's destroyed. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE take your hard earned money elsewhere.

This store is an absolute SCAM. First of all this all happened over a weeks span. Went to get a phone fixed due to water damage, first, it was a screen issue, then it was a battery issue, then a charging port issue. We were happy to pay for the phone as it seemed fixed, however, we quickly learned it wasn't when we took it back the young lady told us she knew it was still having issues and giggled saying she'll have a look. Therefore she happily had us pay hundreds of dollars knowing it was in fact not fixed. We were then told it was a mainframe issue and it would need to be sent away for further tests, which we denied as they clearly showed they are incompetent from the start. Then when we asked for a refund as they have outright lied to our faces and scammed us we were at first denied and suggested buying a second-hand phone from them instead which was completely laughable at this point. We are waiting to get our refund in 4 days as they need to consult with the boss". Amazing service . Priced affordably. Fast efficient and good customer service

The girl was very efficient. She replaced the badly cracked screen and protector on my Huawei Nova 3i mobile phone. She was working all by herself on a very busy Tuesday. She said it would take an hour, but I realised that she would probably need more time so I said I would come back in two hours. She looked so relieved and said it was best if I could allow more time, so the glue would dry and cure properly. When I returned to collect my phone it looked brand new and I was thrilled. I can confidently recommend this place. Nowadays the mobile phone has become an essential tool and I was more than happy to wait a little longer to get a quality result. I am sure other customers will be too. Thank you again.
