Nice centrally located bar for a casual drink and pub style food. Generally good service.Edit. Recent visit with a group was not so enjoyable. Food took an hour come out, and all meals had quality issues. Schnitzel was not hot, beef and guiness pie pastry was burnt, rump steak was gristly, and seafood chowder, was over peppered and lacked quality seafood.

Order took an hour to come out on a first table and they forgot one meal.Suggested in future for the waitress to read the order back.She looked back in distain.Rude service.Meals were good and big in portion.

Food was horrible. Ordered beefburger and chips. Chips were so pickled with salt I couldn't eat them. The burger itself was burned black and was so hard you could use it as a Frisbee. The bun was sickening, it felt a slimy soft on one side and rock hard on the other that I felt it was heated in the microwave and left in too long. They were short staffed we were told, not that should have made a difference. but definitely get rid of the chef, he or she obviously don't take pride in what they cook and serve up to their customers. I wouldn't like to see that kitchen which was upstairs, and the food was brought down by a girl who said she didn't even work there?? Avoid it like the plague!

Friendly staffs.Place has a bit worn out and needs a bit of cleaning.Food's portion were huge. Enough for sharing. Taste was acceptable.Pricing for food was very reasonable for the portion size

Staff great.Food great and good value.Didn't eat the salad as didn't like the dressing but my friend liked it.So personal taste on the dressing. Definitely not my taste.I suggest to get the dressing on the side.Down point was The Bog could of been cleaner, table sticky and dirty and floor had a puddle, spill drink on the floor. It was like a well used pub but I would definitely go back to The Bog to get the beef schnitzel and chips which were yummy.I would get a different sauce on the schnitzel as the mushrooms were not cooked in the mushrooms sauce.Perfect mixed drink coke and raspberry. Lots of fizz.Well done.Great music on the telly, 80's music.

Great service, bartender was an absolute awesome dudes. Portion size was huge for the starter, definitely more than what 2 can handle. Well worth it.
