5 stars for the welcome from the little French bulldog who loves a cuddle. I've shopped here over the years, mostly over the phone as I live outside the region. Was excellent to visit in person and get the full experience. Great range of products, very knowledgeable and helpful staff (they deserve five stars also). Use navigation to get there if you're not familiar as it's on a slip road off a 100km/hr interchange.

First class service from Richard in the showroom to the guy who installed our new washer-dryer. I needed a new machine urgently and they installed it within 24 hours of us seeing it in the showroom. The appliance itself is superb and great value at a reduced price.

So many things to like about shopping for appliances at Kitchen Things. 1) The large variety of brands and appliances in store - Touch and feel a product before you buy! 2) Quality staff - The staff here know the vendors they showcase and the features of the products. 3) The low pressure sales approach. They listen to what I am looking for and what features I want (or don't want!). Never been pressed to buy now!" or "upgrade" to something more than what I am looking for. 4) They arrange skilled installers. I've have had 3 items installed and never once has the installer had the flip thru the install guide to figure out where something goes. Installation team was professional and tidy!"

Awesome after-sale service. We messed around on our delivery times/days, needed a part, out in Eastbourne, all sorts. Sam (and the team at Jones Services) sorted it all fast and friendly :)

Great service! they took the time to show us all the ovens on display. We ended up buying a nice Samsung pyro oven from them. Pretty stoked.

We recently bought our Bosch fridge during lock down. Such good and swift service. The delivery boys were fantastic too. They took their time to fot it through the rather narrow doors with sucess. Fantastic fridge!

Great place to review products and see the different options available for kitchen appliances. Sam was fantastic to deal with and only to happy to help.Unfortunately that’s we’re the great service ends. We purchased 5 items from them, fridge, oven, hubs, visa tap and rangehood. The only appliance we haven’t had issues with (touch wood) was the oven.Hubs - arrived with scratch - we where told we must have done this and no action taken to remedy.Fridge - handle came loose after about a month. Samsung tech fixed.Vista tap- dripped from handle since day one and been trying to get it fixed for the last 9 month. We just get passed around to different service people, calls not returned and staff leave during process to you have to start again.Rangehood: this arrived and when unpacked it had a smashed screen. Again the poor Customer service popped up and again told our fault. Account manager (not Sam) said he will pull a favourite and get us a new one and treated us like it was totally our fault. New one sent and again arrived with smashed screen. Again made to feel like it was our fault. They sourced a 3rd unit which they had sent to the Wellington office for us to collect. We had the call that it had arrived and was ready for collection. 50min round trip to collect unit to find that due to poor management they checked the wrong bit and this unit also had a smashed screen. Long story short the supplier had changed the packaging to minimise waste and hence increased the possibility of damage during transit. No apologies at all and even made to feel bad about the situation.Based on our experience I would only visit / use the store to get an understanding of the appliances on the market and possibilities available. I would totally recommend talking with Sam as he was awesome. Unfortunately I would not recommend purchasing anything from them unless you want drama in your life, addition stress and costs for builders and electricians to visit multiple times.Great appliances when working but not worth the stress. As per other feedback if anything goes wrong they just wash their hands and direct you to the service departments for the brand and make you do the running around.
