I wouldn’t normally write a negative review about a small local place but I just didn’t have a great experience. The food was very overpriced and the pizza wasn’t anything too special it tasted like frozen pizza with a bit of cheese on top.I hate to say this too but… there was a hair in my salad …I also ordered a drink which never came. When I asked, the sever was friendly but said I never ordered it nor paid for it. She was friendly but I specifically remember I asked for a Coke Zero at the counter and she repeated Coke Zero and I said yes. Yet 15 minutes later when I hadn’t received it she was adamant I hadn’t ordered one. A very odd experience.The set up was clunky, having to question where to order and getting your own cutlery from a table.For the cost, the portion sizes, staff, and quality just wasn’t really up to expectations so I give it 2 stars.

We had dinner and it was delicious. I had the pasta and my fiance had the pizza. Serving sizes were large and the pizza had ample toppings. Owners were lovely and service was wonderful.Not sure how this place has so many bad reviews. Food came out within 20mins so there wasn't a long wait of 1hr plus like everywhere else in town. Loved the decor, alot of thought has gone into giving it a lovely rustic homey feel. We will dine here again if we pass through Te Anau in the future.

Terrible coffee, worst I’ve had in many years. $6 for a regular flat white. Better to have a cup of instant at home. No service whatsoever- “just wait there and I’ll make the coffees and you can take them to your table.”

We decided to give naturally Fiordland a go after lining up at the ranch and another Italian restaurant which both said to us the food would be a 1 hour wait. We were able to order immediately at Naturally Fiordland although they don't take pay wave, this is strange for 2022.Ordered a small Honolulu pizza and the small Hunters pasta. Waited over 1 hour for the food. By the time our food arrived we were regretting not waiting at the other two restaurants instead. Pizza was passable and pasta was similar to what you'd get following the recipe on the back of the pasta packet.The atmosphere would have been better if cutlery wasn't self service, payment via paywave as an option and if there wasnt a clothes drying rack for drying dish towels in the dining area. Given the large number of other negative reviews I would hope management would try to seize the opportunity to improve.

Found the service to be perfectly friendly and adequate, contrary to some reviews. Could be some misunderstanding of simple German efficiency in communication! The place is also obviously well loved by the owner who has put a lot of thought and personality into the decore. I think it's created a nice atmosphere. Pizzas were pretty good, not amazing, but nor were they as terrible as some reviews suggest.

By chance we saw the restaurant. It looked very inviting and we still havn't regretted it. The woman at the counter was very friendly. The pizza and salad were delicious!!! The first really good pizza on our NZ trip! WE WILL COME BACK AGAIN!

The worst pizza I have ever had. Expensive too. Happy to pay for quality,but this was not worth it at all. 2 different pizzas and a pasta between us and it was all extremely bland. And you have to take your own dishes away. No table service. Not what you would expect for the price. Sounds silly to say, bit all the spelling mistakes in the menu should have been taken of a warning about the food to come. Drink prices also seemed to change each time I ordered 1. Would never go back.

Similarly disappointed like many others who left a review.Came in here because everywhere else was either full or closed, wish I had gone to the supermarket and got a frozen pizza instead.Ordered a Greek salad and a large 1/2 BBQ chicken 1/2 meat lover pizza. Greek salad was over drenched in oil. The pizza dough tasted like stale white bread, the chicken on it tastes like it had been in the freezer for months doused in barbecue sauce, and the ham" tasted like bouncy gelatinous stuff you get in American supermarkets.Portion size was pathetically small

Pasta was way overpriced. $30 each for tasteless and cold pasta. Pizza was too salty, you’d be better off getting frozen pizza from the supermarket. Best thing about this place was the free wifi.
