Good food and atmosphere! Mango sticky rice is totally different than what I expected ( what I had in Thailand was real mango) that's why it's 4 instead 5 stars. More food reviews on Instagram:foodienz58

Food came out fast and looked good but underwhelmed us sadly. The veggie curry sauce was too sweet. The crispy pork wasn’t that crispy and the pork was dry. The spare ribs looked amazing but again the sauce was really sweet and the rice was rather rubbery.

Sawadee krap, brilliant spacious restaurant on the Eastern end of Jackson St.Portion sizes are massive, no complaints here all got polished off. Minus one - as one of our party found out you don't take on the 'Hot' level of spice or you'll look like you've seen a ghost and be questioning the meaning of life.All the waitresses were excellent and service was quick and friendly. Chairs/thrones a little uncomfortable.

Visited the restaurant based on a recommendation. Was not disappointed at all. Fast service, fantastic food. Would definitely recommend to others. It's popular but don't let that put you off.

This restaurant is fantastic. The entrance opens to a large authentic dining area that immediately transports you to Asia. The towering central flower display, the smells, and sounds, all an immediate sensory delight. As the friendly staff ushers you to one of the plentiful tables one of the first things you notice is the table and chairs. No flimsy seats here. These are solid comfortable seats in which to await the culinary delight you are about to receive. The food was amazing, hot, full of flavours that again just shouting authentic Thai food. This is definitely a must try and I’m sure you will be back for more.

Looks like a small cosy restaurant from the outside, but it's actually quite large, lots of tables, and a private dining area as well. The service was very good, food was quickly delivered, and was very nice. Fresh, crispy vegetables, great tastes, and really good sized portions. The satay BBQ pork, and soft shell crab meals were excellent.

I loved the green curry and crunchy roti. I didn’t like summer rolls as they were tasteless rather should have ordered spring rolls or some other starters. It was just raw vegetables filling so no taste at all but can consider healthy. Ambiance, interior and service was great. I will try explore other options and other dishes next time. They allow BYO.

Sabaidee Pah Khao Lao Restaurant
I missed this establishment when it opened as it opened just before Covid lockdown. When I discovered it, I was pleasantly surprised. Great menu, friendly staff and large and inviting surroundings with two areas (one with its' own bar) for private functions. This place is absolutely top notch and I've dined her on numerous occasions. Definitely on my top 5 in Petone!!
