Great service and advice from the guys selling the fish & cleaning it nicely. I could make my family a traditional South African pickle fish with 2 nice Snappers.

disappointed in the fish and chips. spent $40 and ended up throwing most of it out as it was very greasy and the oil did not smell good. If my kids wont eat it then i know somethings wrong because they love fish and chips.

Fish of the day was ridiculously fresh, juicy, perfectly cooked and nice thick meaty pieces. The herbs through the batter was really nice but everything was a bit over salted.Only thing I'd say is that it needs to be eaten straight away. When we got the pack I could feel the fish and everything else was crispy but by the time we got home to start eating 15min later, the batter was spongy and a bit soggy. The hotdog also didn't come with sauce which was a bit of a let down.Going to be our new go to for sure!

Fresh fish of the day with crispy batter. The fish and chips were well drained making the food that much better. The raw fish with fried bread is delicious worth every cent.

Fish and chips was average. Batter was quite thick however tasty and crunchy. The portion was large and chips was nice and crunchy. Battered scallops was $2 dollars for 2 pieces and they were nice. There was a parking in the front and service was good.

I have been going to this place for over three years and previously it was the BEST rawfish and fish and chips you could get. But i gotta be honest lately the times Ive had the rawfish here idk why but the pieces of fish are so big probably that seal that was in Papakura could eat it lol please make them smaller pieces alot of people I know are put off by large pieces of rawfish. Also the fish and chips are not as good, those chips used to be bomb as with their lemon pepper seasoning and now it looks like old chips and none of the seasoning. Im hoping they take note of this review cause its hard to find good fish and chip shops these days and their customer service at the front counters is still good!

Have been a customer with them for over 5 years. Today is my first negative experience. The Indian woman at the counter does not have customer service skills - no smile and is begrudged when you request the fish you buy to be cleaned. It doesn’t make sense since this is a fish shop?

If you make fish curry (indian style) this place is the best to grab fish from. They clean and cut into proper curry pieces! Quality is really good to! Highly recommend!
